>> Colours in Your Home (5 tips) 4/5
As previously recommended, many people choose 3 colours for their interior decoration : a main colour, a secondary colour and an accent colour. But the problem is that these colours are too often all used on the walls. For example, the main colour would be used on the ceiling and on three of the walls, the secondary colour on the remaining wall and the accent colour on the mouldings. Then come the furniture and accessories and all of a sudden everything seems wrong. Why?
Decorating Tips
Before determining the new colours of your walls, make the inventory of colours that can be found in your accessories, your furniture and also in the things that cannot be changed easily like faucets, wood or ceramic floors, windows and doors that cannot be painted. Taking into account these colours, you may choose only one or two colours for your walls.
