Exactly What I Wanted!

I debated for about a year whether to purchase a murphy bed online and looked at many different products before finally purchasing this one. I was very nervous but am soooo glad I did! It's exactly what I wanted. Due to the size of our room, we turned the bookshelf at a 90 degree angle to the bed. (This is possible since the bookshelf is actually a separate piece from the bed.) My husband and I put it together ourselves, and, although it does take a long time, if you follow the directions exactly as written, it comes out perfectly. Some tips I learned: 1) Don't skip ahead in the directions thinking you will save time - there is a reason they are written in the order that they are. 2) Due to warping during shipping, the doors may look slightly curved when you unpack them, but don't worry. The very last step is to screw the doors to the bed frame and this step straightens the doors out. 3) If installing on carpet, don't forget to raise the front leveling feet as instructed to account for the carpet or else the baseboard won't install correctly on the bed. Overall, I feel this piece is very well made and we are very happy with it.

Clean lines and modern design. Sturdy and Very comfortable. Much better than a sofa bed. We hired someone to put it together and it took them 6 hours to assemble and secure to the wall. One part is rubbing when we close the bed but we would have to disassemble to fix. Which isn't happening. Overall very happy with this purchase we get a lot of compliments.

This is a perfect solution for any multi-use room where an extra bed may be required. Boxes come shipped directly to your home with all parts neatly packed and protected. All hardware is easily identified and instructions are very clear (I would highly suggest using them!). It's a 2 person job for some parts due to alignment or lifting to ensure nothing is inadvertently damaged. Leave the better part of a day to assemble (just unboxing and cardboard breakdown may take 1 to 2 hours). It all went together as designed. Everything aligned, everything is square and functions perfectly. We use an Endy mattress on it. Easy to open and close with one hand. I had an issue with a part failure (my fault) and they replaced the part to my home within 72 hours. If you are half inclined, this is an excellent product.
