2. Using your personal information.

By consenting to Bestar’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Bestar through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list.
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Bestar.
We do not charge for the SMS/text messaging service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We may modify or cancel the SMS/text messaging service without notice.
You may opt out of the Service at any time. Reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us to cancel. You will receive a one-time opt out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. For support or assistance, text HELP or email [email protected].
The wireless carriers supported by the SMS/text messaging service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the SMS/text messaging service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or SMS/text messaging service.
5. Disclosing your personal information.
We understand that disclosing your personal information to third parties requires your consent, except in the circumstances specified further in this document. However we can release your personal information without your consent if permitted and required to do so by law. We will use our best efforts to minimize the amount of information provided each time we are required to release your information.
Please note: if we have provided personal information for a purpose listed in Article 2 (listed above) to a third party that operates in a foreign jurisdiction, then local legislation may allow that third party to access your personal information without your consent.
6. Retaining your personal information.
We keep your personal information to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to meet the legal requirements to retain information, and to protect our legitimate business interests.

The exchange of personal information between you and Bestar is protected by encryption technology, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) and/or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). All personal information is stored in our computers and those of our computer service providers. These technologies were implemented to ensure the confidentiality of your transactions, whereby our systems undergo tests and security reviews every six months.
8. Limited liability.
Due to the Internet’s characteristics, we do not offer any guarantee against the potential risks regarding the misuse, interference, hacking or distortion of your personal information.
9. Questionnaires, surveys, and promotions.
By using our Websites, you agree that Bestar occasionally may send you telephone and email surveys, as well as questionnaires to receive information voluntarily from you, and/or may contact you about our promotions. You are not obliged to participate in these surveys or to release your personal information that we may request. When you provide us with personal information, Bestar uses this information to build profiles of its Websites’ users. If Bestar has received your consent to collect your personal information at that time, Bestar may contact you for feedback about its products and services.
